NY Renaissance Faire 2014

It has been three years since I last attented this event. There have been some changes. Queen Elizabeth is young again. There are rumors that the coming of casinos to the Catskills may result in one of them buying the franchise. Some are concerned that a casino owner might dumb it down and change it from a labor of love and a traditional NY summer stock offering into a money-grabbing enterprise. Slot machines in the market, perhaps? In any event, I hope you enjoy the photos. It's a fun day for kids and adults. I only get there once a year. So it's my only shot at good shots. I talked to a couple of photographers who are there every day. I expect to submit a few of these to the photo contest that the Faire runs every year. I try to capture moments that others have missed rather than simply documenting the event. Wish me luck and let me know if you have any favorites.
