It was tough getting good compositions this year. What was once a charming scene of summer stock Elizabethan theatricality evolved into just another overcrowded up state New York beer blast not unlike Bear Mountain on Columbus Day weekend. Ten pubs in the 1/10 square mile of the site tell the tale. Also, the one-lane road leading in and out of the grounds. There were still pockets of charm. But one must swim upstream against mobs of plastic cup toters to find them.
